3 down, 10 to go!

Standard

This was me this morning after my 5k run!!! Totally cheesy grin! I was sooooo happy because I managed 5k, all the way, no walking, and no niggles! So, 3 miles clocked, let’s get the other 1o done!

I iced my left shin, just in case, but left it on too long as I now have a bit of an ice burn, d’oh!!

Breakfast was smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on spinach. Check out how yellow those eggies are! I normally buy free range eggs anyway, but saw some free range, organic eggs on offer and got those and they are bright little bubbles of sunshine!

Snack was apple and a samoa baby. These are just yum yum yummy! I’ve got a total craving for apples at the moment, can’t get enough of them. I had another one later! My favourite apples are Royal Gala, what are yours??

Took my own advice and went home for lunch today and took a full hour, rather than stressing myself out about preparing it last night. It was lovely to see my baby girl too! She loves it if Rob or I pop in unexpectedly on a lunchtime. We had roasted chicken leg, sweet potato, spinach, cucumber, tomato, olives with some cashew nut cream cheese. Mmmmm!

Had Pilates this evening. I really do love this, and Rob came again! He’s in his element, being the only boy 😉 Feel all stretched out and my core feels burny but strong.

Dinner was spiralised courgette with pesto, it has been cold, dark and rainy here so wanted some comfort food. This is the best bit! Having it all pour out of the gadget 😀

I said when I got back from London that it would be good to sell my previous tri-suit and the money could then go towards the new one, well I successfully sold it on eBay for £20! Which means my new tri-suit only cost me a tenner. Bargain!

I also managed to perform 6 push ups in a row today, 6!!!!!!!!! I am well on my way to achieving 10 before the month is out hopefully.

I have also been busily working on a little project which I am going to include in my GIVEAWAY!! I will be posting the details on Sunday so keep your eyes peeled. I am super excited, and if I could, I would enter my own giveaway!!

Just want to say- Happy A Levels Day to those who got their results today, and if it wasn’t a happy day, don’t worry or panic. It’s not the end of the world and there are always other options, despite what people may tell you. Here is a great Q&A the BBC have done about A Level grades today.

I don’t have any A Levels, but have still managed to get to university to do a degree and I am training to be a teacher. Keep it real 😀

Send me positive thoughts please, I’ve got my appointment with the allergy specialist tomorrow morning 🙂

  1. That samoa looks good, but I’m not sure what it is!
Love your smile after the run- I’m usually collapsing on the floor or running to the shower LOL

  2. Congrats on the 5k!!! 🙂
I love apples too, I eat 5 or 6 every day, and I think I like every sort of apples, but Royal Gala are pretty tasty 🙂
I haven´t been to pilates for ages, I need to go to some classes, it is such an amazing stretch for the whole body.
Hope it all went ok with the allergy specialist!!
